Service Time To find out what makes this service unique, read on.... This service is devised by Interface Worship. They are a group of 'worship artisans' who work in cooperation with St. Paul's Anglican Church, to provide indigenous, original, liturgical services with unique themes and rituals. Interface worship seeks to engage in worship as a means of spiritual formation. Interface Worship have specific theological and formational goals, and seek a spiritual approach to engaging with theological concepts.
Elements of this service will include poetry by Mark Pole, and music led by Kathleen Pate. There will also be live, prophetic painting by Lori Kelly, a period of meditation, open art tables, and the extensive use of unique symbols, rituals and imagery. Even if you are already engaged in a worshiping community, you might find this service of interest, as it is a total change of pace from the norm. The organizers seek to give you space to engage with the story of God acting in History, through this service. If you are not a "churchy" person, this service and environment might well work for you, as it is a setting where people can meet with God on their own terms, without being heavily directed, or having responses demanded beyond that response which is your own. This service offered by Interface Worship is a great opportunity to experience a mode of worship that will engage your senses and desire to worship in unique ways. It is also a wonderful opportunity to explore symbols and rituals during a public worship experience that will draw you personally deeper into relationship with and understanding of Christ. The fact that this expression of Christian worship arises organically from the desires and imagination of the worshipers themselves, makes for an indigenous worship experience unique to the culture and world views of our time. An experience well worth having.

This service, Epiphany:Revelation, is part of the "Throne Room Worship" stream developed by Interface Worship, along with services for Holy Saturday, and Reign of Christ. In the Epiphany:Revelation service, the theme is the Revelation of Christ, and the group hopes to show that as Christ revealed Himself in His incarnation, we [Chrsitians] continue to do the same by living incarnationally.
